Midland mencap wants to talk to citizens and family carers about how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected their health and wellbeing.

We would like to speak to:

• Younger adults with a learning disability

• Older adults with a learning disability

• Parents/carers of adults and children with a learning disability

• Children age 12+ with a learning disability (with consent)

In Person Focus Groups:

• On Monday 18th July, 12pm to 13:30pm. At the Weoley Castle Community Centre, Bottetourt Road, Weoley Castle, B29 5TE. For Parents/Carers of children and or adults with a Learning Disability.

• On Friday 22nd July- 12pm to 1:30pm. At the Weoley Castle Community Centre, Bottetourt Road, Weoley Castle, B29 5TE, at the Family Carers Lunch . For Parents/Carers of children and or adults with a Learning Disability. (Lunch is available to be purchased from the community Café)

• On Thursday 28th July, 11.00am to 12.30pm. At the Moseley Baths, 497 Moseley Rd, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, B12 9BX, at the Family Carers East Birmingham Support Group. For Parents/Carers of children and or adults with a Learning Disability. (Lunch is available to be purchased)

Online Focus groups:

• On Monday 25th July, 11:30am to 1pm. Parent/Carers of children and or adults with a Learning Disability.

• On Tuesday 26th July, 11am to 12.30pm. Parent/Carers who have a learning disability.

• On Tuesday 2nd August, 11am to 12.30pm. Parent/Carers who support an adult with Learning Disability.

• On Wednesday 3rd August, 11:00am to 12:30pm. Parent/Carers who have a learning disability.

• On Monday 8th August, 11am to 12.30pm. Parents/Carers of Children with a Learning Disability

• On Tuesday 9th August, 11am to 12.30pm. Parent/Carers of child with Learning Disability.
