One Year on from moving into Clifton Road!

Wow! What a busy but fantastic year it’s been since Midland Mencap got the keys to Clifton Road Outdoor Learning Centre. Set within 2000 acres of beautiful green space Clifton Road now plays a vital part of our delivery and during the past year alone we have;

• Delivered 11 weeks of school holiday provision
• Supported over 145 children to take part in adventurous outdoor activities
• Worked with a number of schools to deliver outdoor learning activities
• Launched a weekday Health & Wellbeing programme for people with learning disabilities. The programme includes walking football, cycling, archery, swimming, cooking plus many more activities
• Ran many social events and discos
• PLUS MANY MORE AMAZING THINGS!

We are really excited for the future and look forward to delivering many more activities. We are also really looking forward to welcoming Trinity Specialist College to Clifton Road in September who will be using the site to support 18-25yrs old!
