Parkride is the regions leading adapted cycling scheme offering free or low cost access to a fleet of inclusive bikes and trikes allowing you to cycle in safe spaces with expert tuition and support across Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Sandwell and the wider West Midlands .
Whether you are new to cycling, haven’t cycled for a long time or you just don’t have a bike Parkride’s fully inclusive bikes mean everyone can enjoy the fun of cycling.
Parkride is an inclusive and accessible cycling service which offers fun and flexible cycling for all to enjoy, regardless of age, disability or cycling ability. Our main aim is to encourage people to get active through cycling and achieve their personal aspirations.
We provide safe & secure group sessions, 1-1 sessions and pop up events across the West Midlands. Enjoy sessions in your local parks, on various cycling routes, and we can even bring the bikes to you.
We have a wide range of both adapted and mainstream cycles for both children and adults. There really is something for everyone!
We can offer an initial taster session where we will assess the level of support that each person/ family might need, as well as matching you to the most suitable cycle to suit your needs.

Parkspin combines our fleet of accessible bikes and trikes with stationary rollers, used for spin classes. Sessions are full of fun, music and exercise
What are the benefits of parkride?
There are many benefits to people’s health & wellbeing by getting outdoors and cycling, but either doing it together as a group or a family is great fun!
Where and when can I find parkride?
Parkride is based in parks across the West Midlands! We have hubs in Sutton Park, Weoley Castle, Woodgate Valley and Walsall but we travel across the midlands bringing accessible cycling to you!

How long are parkride sessions?
parkride sessions do vary and can be between 15minutes to 2 hours check out our current timetable here to see what sessions we are running this week!
Is safety equipment provided?
Yes, we will provide helmets but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Our trained staff will also provide you with all the information you need to use the bikes safely and give you everything you need to get out and start exploring your local parks
Can we bring our own bikes?
Yes! We want to encourage the everybody to take part. We understand the challenges that families with children and adults with SEND face doing things together, quite often siblings can’t get involved so yes, please bring your own bikes!
