Walsall Social Activity Volunteer
Who are Midland Mencap
Midland Mencap is a charity which works and campaigns for accessible and inclusive services and a better quality of life for everyone with experience of learning disabilities and additional needs.
Volunteering with Midland Mencap is your opportunity to do something really positive, to have a great time, feel good and help us achieve our vision.
Purpose of the role?
People with a learning disability or additional needs are often isolated and excluded from mainstream leisure and social activities. We believe that EVERYONE has the right to have fun and feel safe.

What would I be doing?
With your friendly personality and happy attitude, we need you to be a friendly face for our citizens, chatting and helping them to get involved and have a great time.
Our weekly social night gives our citizens the chance to meet their friends and enjoy a range of games and music, or pop into town for something to eat or a game of bowling.
Our monthly disco is filled with music, laughs and good times. Whether you want to dance along or you are just happy to chat, you can help someone to have a fun night.

• Accepting of people who may be different to you.
• Happy to chat.
