Volunteer With Us

Our amazing volunteers help us to support people with learning disabilities and their family carers

Want to Volunteer to help at Midland Mencap?

Hi there! My name is Kate Webber, I started as Volunteer Manager at Midland Mencap in October 2021.

Here at Midland Mencap, our amazing volunteers help us to support people with learning disabilities and their family carers in so many ways. From pitching in at one of our sporting events, to supporting someone to try out a new hobby, to getting involved behind the scenes: whatever time you can give is invaluable.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life. Some have a learning disability; others have friends or family who are affected by a disability. Some people simply want to develop their skills or give something back to their community. No matter why you want to give your time, we want volunteers to be at the heart of what we do here at Midland Mencap.

We have a few new roles available across our services, all the information is available on the role profiles below. Take a look at what we’re looking for and what you will get in return. If you’re interested, you can download and fill in an application form.
